Candle Care Instructions
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Candle Wax
Due to the soft nature of the natural Coconut Soy wax, after the first initial burn, it's common that the wax might have a little texture to it once melted. If this happens no worries, this is completely natural and has no effect on the burn of the candle.
Wicks
Wicks are self curling. This is a safety messure, so as the candle wax burns down, you're not stuck with a large overly flickering flame that burns your wax faster and produces soot.
When wicks curl, they can form a little ball at the end, also known as mushrooming, so each time you're getting ready to light your candle, take a little tissue and pull the black ball off of the wick before you light it.
You want to trim your wick every so often to about 1/4 inch. Trimming your wick gives you a cleaner, safter, and longer-lasting burn, controls flame size, promotes even melting of your candle, and reduces soot.
A sticker with instructions are also available on the bottom of your candle.
